Seguin Street sidewalk has been reopened.

Due to the Family Day holiday, curbside waste collection scheduled for Monday February 19th will be postponed until Tuesday February 20th. Please ensure all waste continues to be out by 7:00 a.m. for it to be collected.

MacFarlane Street Transfer Station is now accepting payment for garbage tags via interact. Coins will continue to be accepted until March 30th, 2024. No VISA/Mastercard. Garbage tags will also continue to be sold at Hillcrest Grocery and the Town of Parry Sound Municipal Office.

Work occurring at the Bowes Street train trestle Feb 28th - Mar 6th, 2024. Due to the work, alternating lanes of traffic may be closed. A portion of the Bowes St sidewalk will also be closed (between River and Louisa St). Please use caution when navigating through the detours.

Council is seeking public comment on the condition of the Waubuno Road Pedestrian Bridge. Please visit the Town's website for more information and to provide official comment if desired.

Work will be occurring on Town roads starting Monday August 5th for micro sealing. Work will primarily be occurring overnight to avoid traffic disruptions and take approximately two weeks to complete. For locations of work and more information, please visit the Town's website.

Repairs to the Seguin Street bridge will be starting Monday August 26th. There will be alternating lane closures and the sidewalk across the bridge will be closed. Part of the fitness trail under the bridge will also be closed. More information can be found on the Town's website.

This is a reminder the Town of Parry Sound does not collect yard waste at the curb in the Spring. Curbside pickup is available only in the Fall. However, Town residents can take their yard waste to the MacFarlane Street Transfer Station which is now on Summer hours!
