TT is right. Parkrun goes to great lengths to celebrate all finishers. One finisher isn't better than another. MY and others calling Parkrunnners "cheats", "lowly volunteers" and "mediocre" harm the event and the women who benefit from the physical activity and community.

MY seems hellbent on torpedoing government support for Parkrun—one of the most successful and inclusive physical activity movements of our time, a true gift from Britain to the world. If she gets her way, how many women and men, here and across the globe,will be worse off for it?
