As part of our project in Indonesia, the local team visits the trees each year to see how they’re doing—like this young avocado, thriving under the Indonesian sun. Fun fact: In Java, avocados are often blended with coffee and condensed milk into a creamy drink called jus

This tree was planted just two years ago—and look at it now! Next to it is the person who planted it and has been caring for it ever since, as part of the ongoing work within our project in Tanzania.

In the Usambara Mountains, it’s the local community doing the planting—and that makes all the difference. When people are involved from the start, they really care for the trees. It’s not just planting—it’s long-term commitment.

Our project in Brazil relies on some incredibly valuable support. Local Amazonian women play a key role—gathering native seeds with care and ancestral knowledge, and helping cultivate them as part of their work to restore the Amazon Basin.

We’re glad to see that this year’s rainy season in Mexico has been generous—setting up our project for strong results. Even with solid planning, logistics, and technical work, a good stretch of rainfall can make all the difference.

We went onsite to verify the progress of some of the farmers from our forest garden project in Tanzania. It’s great to see how the trees they’ve planted are already supporting healthier crops and more resilient land.
