A great chance to join our lively group of PhDs on a really important topic. There are three suggested subjects: neighbour noise, environmental noise and new sound sources. Having DEFRA involved will mean your research could have real impact on noise.

The main treatment for hearing loss is hearing aids. We've got an open machine learning challenge to improve the processing of speech in noise on hearing aids. claritychallenge.org

Got any good examples for singers who illustrate the extremes of lyric intelligibility? Would be nice to have some examples when we launch this machine learning challenge soon.
