An eruption from Mount Ili Lewotolok (see purple dot) on 29 Nov 2020 initially spewed ash and noxious gas in the atmosphere. The plume extending over Australia measured by #S5P #TROPOMI on 30 Nov and 01 Dec was predominantly composed of SO2.
