If the books are getting banned, we shouldn't only get them off the list. We should be making more. There should be so many books out there that no on can hide the truth of our history.

Making history comics is such a fun and grueling process.

It takes a lot of work to make one page engaging for students and make it a good resource for critical thinking. It can take 30 pictures and citations to make one thing that feels like you actually care about the culture and history of the students you serve.

But once you do, you are creating a learning experience that can build trust with your students and give them an excellent opportunity to show some of their intellectual horsepower.

So excited for this! The folks at TrueFiktion do great work!
