End of first: Thunder 26, Wolves 9 Minnesota's worst offensive first quarter of the season, and it comes with their season on the line. Wolves shot 3-20 FG and 1-9 3P. Anthony Edwards has 6 points on 2-5 FG. Certainly more aggressive, but OKC continues to send everything at him.

Clearly frustrated, big time forced shot here. He has tried to get his but has had nowhere to go with how OKC has stood up his post entries. Any drive is swallowed up. He said he wanted to get more involved, but it’s clearly hard to do so.

Just can't make the miscommunication/sloppy turnovers against this Thunder team. The Wolves know that, but they aren't playing like they do — just committed two of them in less than a one-minute span. Minnesota has 11 turnovers and 10 field goal makes.

Halftime: Thunder 65, Wolves 32 A complete dismantling with no sign of a response in the queue. Wolves turned it over 10 times in the second quarter alone — have 14 on the night while shooting a meager 12-39 FG and 5-19 3P. Anthony Edwards: 9 points and 1 assist on 3-10 FG.

Overall, obviously the Thunder were incredible but I am pretty shocked with how many facets of the series they won. Their ability to punch back against every tweak or hole the Wolves could find was unreal.

First it was him being forced to become the 1st option as KAT struggled in the playoffs to score. Passed that test in the Memphis series. Then he was able to continue that and help the Wolves overcome Denver. But the playmaking jump this season has been ridiculous.

Final: 124-94 Thunder heading to the finals I’m guesting on the The Daily Wolves X, and YouTube to recap the season. End of a wonderful season, and it’ll be an exciting offseason. I’ll be here covering the Lynx all offseason but will still have weekly articles on the Wolves

Mike Conley on what his teammates meant to him this year “They’re young, they’re fun, they enjoy the journey, they work hard. All the things you want to fight for, they still don’t grasp the finality of it all sometimes… they are just a joy to be around” #WolvesBack

Julius Randle on his impressions of Minnesota “It was surprising, I will say, this being my eleventh year and coming to Minnesota I was like alright it’s going to be cold as hell(laughs)… it’s really my speed… i definitely felt a comfort level and got used to the cold and

Mike Conley on Rob Dillingham's development "He's been in the weight room a lot, he's been trying to get his body to a certain level. ― We talk about it at length - just how much the season will take a toll on your body - and help you become a defender and take bumps."

Jaden McDaniels on Rob Dillingham’s development this year “He’s come a long way… like Rob, he wants to play bad and he knows how good he can be… he’s done really well learning to keep working, keep working out no matter whether you’re playing or not. I think he’s going to be

Donte DiVincenzo on his fit "A year of adapting. Last year, I got my shots in very consistent ways. I knew I'm getting them in transition, in the corner off Jalen iso's, or off a DHO with Isaiah. - This year it's been fluid trying to figure out where your shots are going to be."

There is a clear gap between the #Timberwolves and Thunder, who seem to be a threat in the West for many years to come. How does Minnesota fill that gap? There aren't any straightforward answers. .Tom Schreier has more: zonecoverage.com/2025/timberwol…

What did J.J. McCarthy do to ensure last season wasn't a loss while recovering from his meniscus tear? He studied the playbook and also hit the weight room. Just as importantly, McCarthy quieted his mind. .Tom Schreier has more on the #Vikings QB: zonecoverage.com/2025/minnesota…

Tim Connelly on the young players on the Wolves (Rob Dillingham specifically) (Long answer but worth the listen) “It’s hard to play when you’re a young player on a good team… I think we have a handful of young guys who are clearly rotation players and how do they go beyond that

Tim Connelly on continuity versus mixing things up next year “I’d always air on the side of continuity, I think patience in professional sports is largely non existent and those organizations that can show patience tend to have really high levels of success, but patience

Wolves POBO Tim Connelly on team needs "I don't know if there's a ton of certain skill sets we need. It's more kinda collective maturity to be able to play different ways. Every night you're not going to be able to be super productive. So how do we win those games in the mud?"
