On this day in 2002, Tsunami Bomb released their fantastic debut studio album, The Ultimate Escape on Kung Fu Records I first discovered them after seeing them support The Vandals! at NUSU and loved them since! Its a fantastic album so give it a try!

Another band I dont hear enough praise for but maybe Im in the wrong circles. Tsunami Bomb is exactly what their name says, Pure energy coming through a 100ft wave of music... High-speed instrument playing, frenetic as teenage angst can be. An emotional rush of adrenaline.
