Football is such a hard game to endure. There is so much you have to endure mentally and physically before you even get to a game. When most guys get to college it’s the first time it got really hard. Most people run from hard things.

I get at least 2-3 DMs a week from kids begging for an offer. I don’t even coach college football. This recruiting world is pathetic & I really wish this 5 star/offer/ranking culture crap would stop but I get it. Too much money to be made off the kids…can’t blame the kids.

Amen. I get the same messages. Begging for an “offer” and some graphics to post for attention. Have no idea what they are even messaging about or who. It’ll only get worse because the “adults” eat up the stars culture more than the kids.

There are days Jesus’ words about “a prophet not being honored by those closest to them” resonates with me… where I see those closest to someone not celebrating them as they should be… where those closest to them may see the little chinks that other don’t & want to illuminate

When watching your child play ball... Keep in mind u can't change their habits on the fly. Want them to "Keep an elbow up?" Write it down, work to develop that habit during the week. Anything you yell from the stands will move them away from playing with confidence.
