Gave a Grand Rounds presentation this morning to my husband‘s EM residency where he gave a formal introduction, and I now insist that any future introductions include not only my education CV but also “and she has the best husband and cat”.

The first resident-applicant virtual happy hour is tonight and we are SO excited! Can’t wait to meet the future of urology and our possible future co-residents!

As we await vaccines, this is a good reminder to give thanks for those still in the trenches (EM, Gen Surg, IM, ICU, the associated nurses and support staff, etc.) And a reminder that when one pandemic is over, there are so many more fights left, esp. in our Chicago community
