The Master was privileged to visit Theobalds Farmhouse Garden with City Consorts. Alison Green has created a magnificent garden of ‘rooms’. It is hard to believe this was a field with a rubbish dump at the end just 23 years ago! Thank you City Consorts for such an enjoyable day.

Master Launderer Simon Fordham thoroughly enjoyed the Modern Liveries Dinner this week. Thanks to the Honourable Company of Master Mariners , the first Modern Livery Company, for hosting.

The Master was charged with breaking the windows at Launderers Hall and taken to the Old Bailey and thence to the Tower of London via Routemaster bus. Escorted through the tower by the head jailer who joined us for lunch!

Fabulous weekend. We enjoyed a walking tour, a purely academic tour of local hostelries and topped it off last night with a sumptuous candlelit dinner in the Old Hall at Queens' College. Master Simon and Gill, his Consort have made us all so welcome. Thank you both.
