“Time For Me To Fly” - REO Speedwagon The song was released as a single and reached #56 on the Billboard Hot 100. While not their biggest hit, it became a fan favorite and a staple in their live performances. x.com/JVPALT2/status…

Bob Marley & the Wailers - Jamming (Live in 1978) One of my favourites by the King of Reggae. Recorded for their classic Exodus album in 1977 and also included on the Legend (1984) compilation following his untimely death. Released as a single in '77, it hit #9 in the UK.

Happy posthumous 79th Birthday to the one & only Bon Scott, AC/DC frontman & about the cheekiest bloke to ever rock! One of my all time favourite musicians and this live performance of ‘Long Way To The Top’ from Aussie TV show ‘Bandstand’ back in 1976 captures that. RIP, legend

Smokey Robinson and the Miracles - Hits Medley: I Second That Emotion/If You Can Want/Going To A Go-Go (Live on the Ed Sullivan Show, 1968) Superb footage of more #Motown - and music - royalty! True music legends. Bob Dylan once described Smokey as "the greatest living poet".

Marvin Gaye - Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology) (Live at the 1980 Montreux Jazz Festival) One of his definitive classics! Lifted as the second single from Marvin's still relevant, evergreen masterpiece, What's Going On (1971), & another top 5 success on both the Soul & Pop charts.

The Supremes - Where Did Our Love Go (Live on the T.A.M.I. Show, 1964) Groundbreaking! Coincidental or not, ‘Where Did Our Love Go’ was sitting pretty at the top of the chart (the first of their 12 #1 hit singles) just after the passing of the Civil Rights Act 1964! #Legends
