I’m celebrating Work Zone Awareness Week with a safe work zone right outside my home in Kershaw, SC! Duke Energy has a huge project underway to upgrade reliability and improve capacity for years to come. Special thanks to Taji (pictured here) for keeping our crews safe 🚧

Our Duke Energy volunteer crew celebrated Earth Day by picking up 21 bags of trash with Keep Lancaster County Beautiful. You can help keep your community beautiful by securing debris when you’re traveling and doing your own local litter pickup. 🌎

Proud to represent Duke Energy at tonight’s Salute to Excellence event with the wonderful folks at Floyd D. Johnson Technology Center celebrating the students, teachers, staff and partners who make all the programs a success.

York Technical College’s Dazzling Decades Gala was an incredible night celebrating history, partnership, and the indelible mark YTC has left on our communities in its first 60 years. Duke Energy is proud to a partner of YTC and we look forward to 60 more years of opportunity. 💎

Congratulations to the City of York Fire Department on being selected as the recipient of a $15,000 HERO Grant from the Duke Energy Foundation. They will use these funds to purchase a UTV to improve their mobility and response time during severe weather events.

Congratulations to the City of Lancaster Police Department on being selected as the recipient of a $15,000 HERO Grant from the Duke Energy Foundation. They will use these funds to purchase a towable generator to serve as “back up to the back up” for critical infrastructure.
