Last year so many people protested Canada Day after the news came out of Kamloops. We are still uncovering graves. Will it be the same this year? Did anything actually shift in anyone? Canada, how long is your memory?

Know who definitely can’t travel for abortions? Pregnant people in prisons and jails. As we work to fight the impact of a decision that essentially amounts to judicial rape, I hope there are more abolitionist feminists today than yesterday. #abolitionnow

We must understand abortion criminalization as a part of a larger web. There are many sites and mechanisms of criminalization of reproductive autonomy—which means many points and opportunities for intervention. bit.ly/ResistingCrim

A thread on why Canada isn’t even real: Legally, Canada holds absolutely NO TITLE to the Land. Even though they play it out like they do.

Today, alongside another comrade, we interrupted the flag raising ceremony organized by Capital Pride • Fierté dans la Capitale at City of Ottawa Hall. We were shut down quickly by the many invited uniformed cops in attendance and the queer traitors who champion corporate and genocidal pride celebrations
