Researchers at UGA Agricultural & Environmental Sciences & K-State College of Agriculture were granted a patent for nicotinamide riboside, a vitamin B3 analogue that increases poultry muscle size, improves pig resistance to fatigue & stabilizes the color of pork cuts.
