We were half expecting to have to head home due to disruption but I'm pleased to report that we've got the green light & we're going for it 😃 off to another new city now and it's one we're excited about. Having a quick look at the local trains before our mega traction arrives 😉

We were planning a quick ride on a class 150, but Austin (and stripey) wanted to get going so here we are, heading towards Haverfordwest on 197001 instead. No complaints though, these trains are comfortable enough and the scenery is decent 🙂

Well that's that, Haverfordwest is as far as we can get on the train so our adventure continues by bus. On we go to the next city!

As the UKs smallest city does not have a railway, we're switching to the bus now for the final leg of our trip from Haverfordwest to St David's. A city we've wanted to visit for a long time so we're both very excited!

We often try to partake in local delicacies when we travel. Today, Austin is trying a Welsh cake in the city of St David's. He approves and wants to buy more to take home 😋

We've just checked into our room at St Davids premier inn and Austin found a golden ticket waiting on his bed. He took it to reception where he was gifted an Easter egg. He's so thrilled! A really lovely touch and great start to our stay Premier Inn

There might not be any trains here in St David's, but boy oh boy are there views!! 😍

We're back at Haverfordwest ready to begin our journey home to Suffolk. We made it here early enough to see what will be our train passing through empty to begin it's service from Milford Haven. Nice little toot from the driver too 😁

A perfect run from Haverfordwest sees us into Swansea a couple of mins early. Just enough time to grab some egg and cress sarnies for the journey to London 😁

What's the collective noun for a group of class 153s? We've just seen about 8 of them as we left Swansea 😁 sadly, no time for a ride this adventure, which means we'll have to come back again!!

One last little treat for this trip in the form of UK Railtours East Anglian Freighter. Unfortunately, only a quick glimpse as we speed past at 100mph, but still nice to see. I bet the photos and videos from the platform looked great in this light!

While we absolutely love it here, we are missing both our friends Austin's Rail Adventures

Bit of Sunday morning charter action on our patch 😁 Austin was a little concerned that the loco might whistle at him, hence the worried look on his face 😆

We're off for a trip out on the UKs fastest domestic trains 😁 the Southeastern Javelins are capable of 140mph! While waiting for our train, we were lucky enough to see two special units working in tandem. But where are we off to? Stay tuned to find out!

Our quest to visit every English city might be old news, but we always felt as though there was unfinished business. Today we're visiting the only place in England to have lost city status! Until 1998, Rochester was considered a city, so we knew we'd had to visit at some point 😁

Starting to think this unit is following us 🤣 We first saw #class395 012 on its way into London this morning, then it came back and brought us to Rochester, now it's popped up again to take us home! Austin was thrilled, he loves a special livery 😊

Seeing as we were in the area, it would've been rude not to hang around to see this Eurostar through Stratford International. This really is an impressive sight. This particular train returning from Paris. The saying 'hold onto your hats!' very fitting here for Austin 🧢🤣

Talk about dream come true getting to run your models on the real one. We took #Project3417 Jnr x3 to Strawberry Hill Depot to see 423417_GordonPettitt & all became kids again playing trains on trains! Huge thx to Steve, Lynn & Darren for accommodating us. #VariousMultipleUnits #tmrguk

Big day today! After 4 months of training and assessments, I've passed and been deemed competent to work trains as a conductor. Couldn't be more excited for the journey ahead! Hope to see you all on board soon around East Anglia. Ps. Please excuse the non Austin related post 🤣

Apparently, it's been 3 years since we started posting on Twitter! We've loved sharing our adventures on here and had some wonderful experiences along the way, and made lots of friends too! Here's to the next 3 years and more of the same 😁🚂
