A chilled cycle in Phoenix Park last night with Fingal County Council Dublin City Council Sunset Cycle Thanks to the Park Rangers and An Garda Síochána for closing the roads and keeping us safe as we went An excellent playlist and sound system from I BIKE Dublin Deirdre Kelly Stephen Mc Ginn

Wow.. How surprising that so many drivers don’t respond to An Garda Síochána endless urging, pleading & appeals.. Shocked🫢 Now if we had an online 3rd party video portal staffed by trained 👮 personnel, then maybe they 🚘 heed! All that dash-cam evidence being wasted is a shame!

An Garda Síochána An example of how hi-vis is ineffective when drivers aren't paying attention.

This takes place again tomorrow evening in the Phoenix Park. The weather is looking like it's going to be another cracker, so grab your bike and meet us at 7:30pm at the Phoenix Monument on Chesterfield Avenue #IBikeBop #Sunsetcycle I BIKE Dublin

Incidents like these are why I report every single close pass, one day these drivers cut their margins too fine as I found out in 2020 when driver clipped my elbow at 50mph I was lucky. Farmer knocked over and killed 'inspirational' 92-year-old cyclist. walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-new…

Blown away with yesterday's Family Fun Day in Malahide, the perfect end to our biggest #BikeWeek yet in Fingal County Council Thanks to everyone who came out over the week and made it such a positive celebration of cycling for fun, transport and sport! #BikeWeek2025
