Our study on the effect of valsartan on disease progression in subclinical HCM is out now in JAMA Cardiology doi.org/10.1001/jamaca…. Overall, progression of HCM was slow and no effect of valsartan was identified (although n=34). Thanks to all patients and collaborators!

Excited to share our collaboration with Dr. Gavin Oudit where we noted that 44% of heart transplant patients have damaging genetic variants in cardiomyopathy genes. Important that we consider genetic testing in patients with non-ischemic cardiomyopathy! #HeartFailure #genetic
