Level 2 training today. Teaching officers the tactics used in the worst-case scenario to keep the public safe & keep the King's Peace. These officers are all volunteers who leave their day jobs, at times working long hours & putting themselves at risk. They all worked hard today.

Our officers spotted 2 suspected phone snatchers, dressed as delivery riders near Cannon Street last night. Officers stopped them & after a struggle, they were both detained. They were found in possession of 6 stolen phones & arrested. 5 out of 6 phones returned to the victims

Our Cycle team have been tackling anti-social behaviour, cycling offences & disrupting phone snatchers. As part of our education day, 53 names of cyclists were taken in under 2 hours & all issued with a warning. Next time, we’ll issue a fixed penalty notice #ASBAwarenessweek
