Okayama University Hospital 3 mighty vials of blood drawn for 20+ tests 20 min. MRI (spine/shoulders/hips) 12 or so x-rays (same as above) 2 bevs, 1 sweet pajama change, 1 postcard mailed, few rest stops & snacks + admin check in/out 2 1/2 hours all in, awsum service <3

Today = dentist (I do inspection and cleaning every three months after the "incident" last year… Trying to keep this smile pretty :))

to top it off, all results including x-rays, and complete rundown of blood tests (which were *way more* than 20 test i thought, once sorted through all the results, is at least 60 different markers checked… All delivered to an app within 18 hours of the tests

As always, pardon my drive-by barrage… It's been a heck of a couple of weeks with so many medical appointments and I just can't turn my body off into parasympathetic nervous mode but I'm in bed huffing oxygen & have laundry folded, roast cooked and papers filed

Now my book - The Postal Paths - is out, I am starting to get some great feedback. A woman from a village in Yorkshire has got in touch to tell me about the postman's hut in her garden (now used as a shed) - somewhere for the postie to relax halfway on his 14-mile daily walk!
