UN Human Rights Chief Volker TĂĽrk alarmed by widening violence in #Haiti, as gangs expand their reach carrying out killings, rapes and kidnappings. A record 1.3 million people are now displaced. The violence must end.

At these testing times, we need the strongest possible defence of international law and human rights. Today UN Human Rights Council, I warned how the current trajectory of escalating conflict & disregard for #HumanRights is indefensible.👇 #HRC59
