Imagine your niece or nephew was in Gaza. What would their messages say as bombs fell outside their tent homes? And how would you feel when those messages suddenly stopped? This is the reality for over a million children in Gaza. They need our help. They need a ceasefire now.

UNICEF staff are on the ground in Gaza now delivering medical care, life-saving food and clean water. But the crisis facing children grows worse every day. Children need an end to aid restrictions now. A permanent ceasefire. And the safety that all children have the right to.

How does your donation to UNICEF Ireland help? 🤔 Nazir knows. After his son died during war in Syria, he was supported by a parenting programme part-funded by UNICEF supporters in Ireland. Now, he says: “When my children call my name with joy, all the tiredness vanishes.” 💙

Samah keeps the bullet that nearly killed her 8-year-old daughter. Fatima was eating breakfast when a stray bullet struck her head in war-torn Sudan. But at a UNICEF-supported hospital, surgeons removed the metal and she is now slowly healing. 💙

Khozaima is just 5, and she's already fled her home twice. Her family escaped poverty in Afghanistan for Iran, but bombings forced them back across the border. 160,000+ fled in June alone. UNICEF is responding but needs are rising fast. Children like Khozaima need support now.

No child should die from a disease we know how to prevent. 🛡️👶 That's why UNICEF helped 89% of young children globally receive at least one dose of a life-saving vaccine in 2024. 💉🌍 But millions remain without protection - with your support we can reach more.

Attacks on children and pregnant women in Sudan's North Kordofan State represent a terrifying escalation of violence, and a complete disregard for human life. Impunity cannot be tolerated for violations of international law, especially when children’s lives are at stake.
