Today, United Nations SCDS Mar Dieye met with Matthew Cohan & Eimear O’Connor from Ireland's Dept. of Foreign Affairs Irish Foreign Ministry Peace &Stability Unit They discussed the Unit’s mandate, strategy & explored priority areas for peacebuilding, stabilization &support for women &youth in the Sahel

Following his meeting with the Irish delegation, United Nations SCDS Mar Dieye also met with Mr. Mohamed Djelid, former UNESCO Director &current senior consultant on partnerships & resource mobilization. They discussed a RM roadmap & action plan aligned with UNESCO’s 2025–2029 reg. strategy
