Pictures and objects from the @UQAnthroMuseum are used to contextualise other material that we have little provenance and information on. Now discussing colonialism, displacement and how to document them. #anthropologyday @AustAnthSoc @HASSUQ

Popped into @UQAnthroMuseum during UQ's #NAIDOC festival and learned about the many thousands of souvenirs that #aboriginal artists created. Definitely guilty of buying stuffed koalas and boomerangs as gifts and never thought about who or where they were produced.
