The first GO-BGC float has been launched, marking the start of this new U.S. National Science Foundation funded program! This global array of biogeochemical profiling floats is a collaboration led by scientists at MBARI along with University of Washington, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) and Princeton University.
