Artist Allyn Cox (born #OTD 1896) created murals in the #USCapitol over two decades from 1952-1972. 🎨 He completed and restored the Frieze of American History, and restored the Apotheosis of Washington. He also designed murals for three 1st-floor corridors in the House wing. 🖼️
