I’ve been sitting with a heavy heart these past few days—like so many of you—trying to find the words. Some moments require more than commentary. They require truth, compassion, and collective reckoning. #IStandWithCassie

Let’s be honest: so many people wouldn’t have believed her if there hadn’t been a video. That’s the truth. That’s the problem. That’s why this moment matters.

Cassie showed the world what it means to reclaim your voice in a system built to silence you. To walk away when walking away feels impossible. To speak truth when power demands your silence.

And I’ll be honest—this one hurts deeply. I know everyone involved. That makes it even more painful, more complicated, and more real. But it doesn’t change what’s right. It doesn’t change the truth.

There’s been a deep pull to say something—because silence isn’t neutral. Posting this wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. I know my voice matters, and using it in moments like this is part of the responsibility that comes with leadership and truth-telling.

What Cassie has done is more than brave—it’s catalytic. It forces us to confront the ways we’ve looked away, justified behavior, or stayed quiet to protect proximity to power — or out of fear. That has to end.
