The Scottish Cup run is over for another year, beaten by a better team on the day. Stopped us playing our football & always looked dangerous when in possession. Good luck to @GiffnockSC_2002 in the next round.

So the Scottish Cup draw sees us play host to East Kilbride on the last weekend in January. In the last 16 there are no easy games, it will be a cracker. #syfa #inspiresport

Good end to the year. Well done to the boys for lifting their heads, working hard in training this week & performing as well as they did today after last weeks result.

3 new players turned up to play walking football at our session tonight. We had a total of 29 players, which meant 3 teams of 7 & one of 8 playing a round robin fun tournament for an hour outside in January on the AstroTurf OLSP Tony Vale of Leven FC Walking Football Scotland 👣⚽️

Any old football Boots ⚽️❓ I work with a group of adults who are either homeless, poor mental health & refugees/asylum seekers. We have guys turn up for a game of football literally straight off the streets so football Boots aren’t a priority! Looking for sizes 8-12 if possible

Have to confess, I took great satisfaction in shaking hands with all my teammates & the opposing players VOLWalkingFC session tonight. None of us are panicking about #COVIDー19 none of us have been abroad recently & not one of us in touch with those who have been to infected areas

That’s it, it’s all over. No more worrying on a Friday night that I haven’t booked a pitch, contacted a referee or notified the opposing team about our fixture on the Saturday afternoon. My days as Secretary for Vale of Leven U19s are over.

Have to say, the boys & the coaches DumbartonRiversideFC Loch Lomond FC & Vale of Leven U19s have all been brilliant and made my job that little bit easier. Pleased to have known most of the players that I’ve registered with these clubs. There has been the odd exception
