i personally don't care about my webcam quality, but this is a surprisingly elegant solution for the iPad's less than ideal camera position for FaceTime. the cable is nice/short, and it clips on just fine. didn't think i'd like this thing but i totally see the use case for it

The Opal Tadpole arrived while I was out of town for Christmas and New Year’s. Delighted by the form factor and craftsmanship.

I mean, look at the packaging! Love what Opal is doing there. I’m using my Opal like every day and now I habe something for visiting the office from time to time.

I got one of those rad little Opal tadpole webcams while on parental leave and damn is it useful for taking calls on the couch without looking like a potato. Also it’s cute as heck 🤩
