More Thursday deliveries. Iconic Rioja from Vina Tondonia, with great presentation. Muselet (wire cage) are in place and levels are amazing for age. Colour looks deep and concentrated, but at 12% alcohol is lower than modern vintages. DM for info and price.

Reserva Rioja from the esteemed house of Bodegas Berberana, and from the legendary vintage of 1982. As you would expect there are amazing tertiary flavours of savoury and gamey meat but with surprising black berry fruits and morello cherries.

Well, this is going down nicely. Small parcel of Domaine Zibetti Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru, arrived at Vendemmia Towers this week. Sadly this domaine doesn't exist today, with a sprinkling of vintages from the 80's still coming to market. Thoughts on mature Burgundy?

Special bottle for a special occasion. Celebrating Chelsea ladies winning their 6th WSL title in a row. 1961 was a great vintage and from a great producer. Level was TS, the cork was on the thin side and the wax seal was broken. Not fit to sell, but certainly fit to drink!!
