Great results today with the 1st and 2nd teams both winning down at @Falmouth_Eagles. Some great rugby was played by all teams and we wish Falmouth all the best for the season ahead. The boys have finished the day with a club social around Falmouth #mightyv

Well done to Penryn RFC who beat us last night and good luck in Western Counties. Great performance from our boys with 8 changes to the squad it helped show the depth of players we have and ensures people have the opportunity to progress. Next stop-Bude next Saturday! #mightyv

The season kicks off with the 1st team away to Bude. They finished 4th last season and only lost one league game at home so we are prepared for a tough match. The 2nd team are away to @Falmouth_Eagles and we know we will have to play well to come away with a result #mightyv

It was a tough trip to Bude and the 1st team lost 38-3. Bude only lost once at home last season so it was going to be hard to get a good result up there. The 2nd team came back from being 12 points down to draw with @Falmouth_Eagles 2nd team 12-12 #mightyv

The 2nd team had a tough game up at St Austell RFC last night. The game slipped away in the last quarter losing 53-15. Great spirit shown and we are still coming together and learning as a team. Good to see a number of the first team squad supporting the team too #mightyv

Thanks to our volunteers (some pictured below) who worked with the @Cambornetc1 on the start of work to renovate ‘The Spinney’. Lots more to do but we tried to give it a good start along with members of the Spinney action group #supportyourcommunity

The players collected some advent calendars for the CPR FoodBank which we have just dropped off. We are now going to have a collection bin at the club so if you head down to watch you can drop off some tins or packet food to help support local families #mightyv #foodbank

The second team lost to Camborne RFC Crusaders 34-20.Good luck to them in the next part of the season after Christmas.The first team lost 35-5 against a strong Truro RFC side.Whilst not the results we wanted,we still had a cracking night and will share some details of that later.

Yesterday we gave some food donations to CPR FoodBank. We also worked with local people and businesses to make a toy donation to Finns Army who will give them to children in hospital over Christmas. We finished the night with a great atmosphere in the bar and boxing - on the TV!

The first team are playing down at St Ives RFC today in the quarter final of the senior cup (2pm kick off) and the second team are away to Bodmin RFC 2nds. Should be some great games #mightyv

We have supported the local food bank CPR FoodBank over the last few years as they do a fantastic job. Today we went shopping and delivered some food to them on behalf of the club. Times are tough, but if we all do a little we can make a big difference #community #mightyv
