A pleasure for Vicent Moliner and Iñaki Tuñón to participate in the "Computational Biochemistry" course, as part of the Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling organized in the #zcam at the @BIFI_Instituto, sponsored by the Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moleculaire CECAM

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new 2-year project within the BioComp group. Congratulations to Katarzyna Świderek on receiving funding from Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades as part of the “Ayudas para Incentivar la Consolidación Investigadora” program. Looking forward to the great work ahead!

Vicent Moliner presented our latest advances in the computational design of novel enzymes at the 29th Workshop of the Biomolecular Interaction Research Association (BIRA) in Kyoto, Japan, organized by Prof. Masayuki Oda.

Great moments for the BioComp group at the XL Reunión Bienal de la RSEQ - Bilbao, 2025 held at BEC. Congratulations to Adrian Fernández for his excellent talk and to Carmen Ramos for winning the Best Poster Award. Alongside Maite Roca, they presented some of our latest research results.

Vicent Moliner gave a talk at the “BIRA Public Workshop 2025 – Cosmos, Protein, Nobel Prize,” held with KEIHANNA EXPO in Kyoto, Japan. His talk, “Computational Chemistry: The Chemical Laboratory of the 21st Century,” was aimed, mainly, at high school students.
