People outside the U.S. don't get it. This is what makes America special and great. It is not your heritage that makes you American. It is the ideas that America represents that make one American. You are American the minute you make America your home. Your accent or ethnicity

Whatever is this nonsense, I don't want my kids taking any part of it. How about clarity of thought, critical reasoning, courage to speak the truth, authenticity, curiosity.

It seems DNI Gabbard is unaware that the years-long Russia investigation carried out by the Senate Intelligence Committee reaffirmed that ‘the Russian government directed extensive activity against U.S. election infrastructure’ ahead of the 2016 election, and that it ‘used social

I would buy one for every bathroom at home and in the office, but only one of my bathrooms has a power outlet anywhere close to the toilet (so I only have one). I would guess lack of power outlets is a major reason we are not seeing greater adoption in the US.

Populism is rising for a reason. For many, basic life milestones like homeownership, financial security, and upward mobility no longer seem attainable. The American middle class, once a defining feature of our national identity, is increasingly out of reach. The future seems

Every time I say “does the world need another startup/product that does X” the answer always ends up being YES.

I don't know why founders decided that conflicts of interest are not a big deal and investing in your competitor or vice versa is ok. Seems rather foolish.

Set aside the privacy concerns, I am actually quite excited about walking into a bar and asking if I know anybody there or if I should know somebody there. Better yet, store everything I see and hear and help me recall every experience or memory I have ever had.

Don't drop out of college to start or work for a startup. There will be other (and probably better) startup opportunities, but you can't get your college years back.

I’ve worked for a few companies now from start-up through IPO and beyond. Here’s five lessons I’ve carried with me as an investor. None of them show up in a spreadsheet. 1. Culture is a company’s second product: Companies have two products - The one they sell to their customers

One lesson of DOGE is that a lot of federal govt spending is sent to old ppl (social security, Medicare) and affluent individuals/orgs (defense, health spending) but the spending with the highest “lives saved per dollar spent” tends to go to v poor people or to scientists working

DOGE is such a massive stain on Musk’s reputation. Not because he failed. But, because he did not even try to accomplish anything. And he quickly lost interest and gave up. A spectacular display of hubris and incompetence.

The amount of venture investment going into security startups is quite interesting. I wonder what has changed in the calculus for how people perceive the risk/reward tradeoff.
