It was an exciting and fun weekend for a group of first- and second-year grad students at Virginia Institute of Marine Science as they went to the VIMS Eastern Shore Lab to get hands-on experience with the resources and environments available to them. Virginia Institute of Marine Science students spent this week at the William & Mary Washington Center in #WashingtonDC for the Marine Policy course. Students met with policy makers, federal research scientists, and professionals involved in policy management and development, as well as connected with VIMS #Alumni in DC.
