The Informal Economy Women’s Hub (INEWOH) is an initiative focused on empowering women in the informal economy by serving as a dedicated space for advocacy, resources, & connection, enabling them to enhance their livelihoods & contribute more effectively to national development

Crisis Response and Support: In times of economic downturns or crises (such as Climate change induced natural disasters or pandemics), the hub may mobilize resources and support for women entrepreneurs to help them navigate challenges.

Traders in Masvingo acknowledge the need to have all economic players contributing to national revenues, but appeal for a simplified and tiered tax system that takes into account the diverse nature of the sector. Appeal for incentives such as social protection.
