Weird election night in North Carolina. Trump won, as did Republican judges. But at the same time Democrats won every major executive branch race (governor, AG, superintendent of schools), the only competitive US House race, and even broke the GOP supermajority in the legislature

Good points here on why journalists/news orgs are shifting resources to other avenues to distribute content -- has nothing to do with whether the user base leans left or right, everything to do with whether it's an effective tool to distribute news/attract an audience to our work
