Never in million years did I think I would ever need a drone to photograph a line outside an Applebee’s, but here I am… NC State fans are in a full-on fever dream as both NC State Men's Basketball and NC State WBB 🐺🏀 head to the #FinalFour #WhtNotUs

That's some kind of Wolfpack magic that can bring this many people to a Raleigh Applebee's on a Tuesday night. Our Travis Long: follow @vizjourno on Bluesky was there. Story linked below. newsobserver.com/news/local/art…

I just finished my radio debut on WUNC’s Due South with host Jeff Tiberii and was joined by fellow journalists and friends Lucille Sherman, Colin Campbell, and Danielle Battaglia as we discussed Helene recovery and the current landscape of North Carolina politics. #ncpol #helene2024

Weird election night in North Carolina. Trump won, as did Republican judges. But at the same time Democrats won every major executive branch race (governor, AG, superintendent of schools), the only competitive US House race, and even broke the GOP supermajority in the legislature

Good points here on why journalists/news orgs are shifting resources to other avenues to distribute content -- has nothing to do with whether the user base leans left or right, everything to do with whether it's an effective tool to distribute news/attract an audience to our work
