The last chapter of my dissertation with Dominique Bergmann is now published! In this collaborative project with Renée Dale PhD, Hannah, and Gabriel Amador, we discovered the transition from self-renewing asymmetric cell divisions to stomatal fate is triggered by a cell size threshold

Our paper on the dissection of three light-responsive plant enhancers is out: academic.oup.com/plcell/advance… My favorite finding: the enhancers rely on suboptimal transcription factor binding sites. This is consistent with the beautiful work on animal enhancers from Emma Farley 🇪🇺
