Hon Alex Niyonsaba has officially been declared the NRM Party party flag bearer for Bufumbira South constituency. He polled 23,989 votes, beating his closest opponent Sam Bitangaro with a difference of 597 votes. This follows today's election in the disputed 7 villages.
