Sunday kicked off the 20th edition of the Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) as #ACEIllinois 2025 welcomed more than 60 delegates from the Americas and partner nations to Chicago for the six-day event.

Leaders from 20 countries are here in Illinois as a part of the Americas Competitiveness Exchange. This week is about building networks, forging partnerships, and sharing knowledge to boost competitiveness and drive economic prosperity across for the U.S. and our region.

Our team led by Jay Walsh and Jisu Hong collaborated with Bill to cultivate the relationship with the DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center and Rock Island Arsenal-Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center, laying the groundwork for a partnership to launch this new center. 👏

Illinois is a top producer of soybeans and corn, and Virginia Avila, Secretary of State of Foreign and Business Affairs from Tucuman, Argentina, loved what she heard about that at #ACEIllinois. She returned home with new ideas for agricultural innovation in her country.
