Drs. Binks & LeClair have been awarded another research grant to continue studying the impact of STEP-1 going to Pass-Fail. The 7 medical school study they are spear-heading will assess the impact on medical students' approach to residency applications. Richard Vari was honored as a faculty emeritus by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors. Dr. Vari is a founding member of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and was integral in establishing the school's curriculum and helping it earn accreditation.
