First pass on a green with the targeted sprayer. Spot treating Poa with methiozolin. This is a green that wasn’t covered but we also have two reps of this study on a green just uncovered this past weekend—it’s still pretty green and a lot more Poa. Amy Wilber Shawn Askew, Ph.D.

Visited a golf course in Mississippi a few weeks ago (Photo taken: Apr 22, 2025). A full-year #PoaCure program—3 fall + 2 spring apps—on TifEagle Bermuda greens (and a single boom path on surrounds) delivered excellent control of ALS-resistant Poa annua. Impressive results! šŸ’Ŗ

Pay attention to your seed labels! Note that ā€œother crop seedā€ would include things like ryegrass in a tall fescue seed. 1% is enough to leave one rye grass plant every foot in every direction.
