Good 1st day of renovations at C&BGC after the weekends rain. Verti-cut x3, GreenTek Dyna corer, PriceTurfCare Ventrac brush and cut. Now let them dry out a bit before we go again tomorrow #greenkeeper #greensrenovations ⛳️ 🏌️‍♂️

What a night! 🌧🌧🌧 Not what I need a day before the rearranged Captains day C&BGC long hard day getting bunkers back in play, blowing, cutting & clearing water from shed but considering what rain we have had in 6 days and 2 staff, really happy with how the course is 👌

Construction work started on 4th/13th hole C&BGC Great project to start, with removal of the conifer tree & steps, making the approach bigger & a new bunker, Scrub land either side of hole being cleared with some new steps going in at back of the green. #Greenkeeper

Massive thanks to Jon Lewis PriceTurfCare for coming in at C&BGC with the trencher and stump grinder. 2 great bits of kit that wasn't a problem for the #ventrac getting to a stump on a 25/26 degree bank not a problem 👏👌⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Course is looking really good C&BGC, need some warm weather now to really kick it on. Green soil samples came back from HeadlandAdi, when I started under 2 years ago greens were at 10.5% thatch now just above 6%, some more work needed to get them better 👌 ⛳️

Another project ticked off C&BGC, this has really improved the area by the 8th & 17th tee. Heather's paid for from donations off the members which is amazing 👏 #alwaysimproving #greenkeeper #winterprojects

Greens renovations completed C&BGC, apart from the frosty delays been a good couple of days, verti-cut 2 directions, cut, top dress (around 10T applied) solid tine, brush, Calci-complex and 5-2-10 applied and a water 👌

Had 3 bad greens this winter and after the success of the 6th green last year being drained it was a no brainer to get DJUKE Ltd back in to install #hydrowick drainage into the 1st, 3rd and 8th green C&BGC. Top quality work 👏 👌 👍
