A week late with this, but I'm pleased to share that I passed my PhD viva! A very big thank you to my examiners, Dr Emma Kavanagh and Dr Chad Witcher for a really enjoyable experience. Thank you to Daniel Brown Chris Wagstaff and Dr Rachel Arnold for your incredible supervision.

Great keynote by Stephen Mellalieu to kickstart the BPS Sport & Exercise Psychology (DSEP) conference. 30 years of stress research in 60 mins 👏🏼

Great couple of days in Swansea at the BPS Sport & Exercise Psychology (DSEP) conference. Thanks to the organisers and particularly Dr Rachel Arnold for a brilliant event. Also, thanks for the award for my poster that examined conflict in teams with data presented as an enthnodrama.

We’ve been excited about this paper - what do top coaches say about vulnerability? We re-presented their words as poems and in word clouds. It was a privileged insight and now it’s a pretty powerful exercise for practice. Thank you for leading us so excellently Karin Hägglund

We’ve been excited about this one too! Ale Quartiroli and I write about how psychologists are increasingly working at a systems-level and outline a new job role that has emerged. A Systems-Led Approach to Developing Psychologically Informed Environments tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

Really interesting new applied paper in Journal of Sport Psychology in Action by Matthew Scandle, Daniel Brown, and Chris Wagstaff (@UoPSportScience) on making the case for curiosity in sport.
