Tee times for Monday’s day 1 action of the region 2 boys golf tournament at Rockwall Golf and Athletic club.

Day 1 complete at the region 2 championship. 8 shots back and some work to do tomorrow.

We are headed to State!! The boys finished second at the region 2 golf tournament and heads to the state championship on April 29-30 in Georgetown. Luke is the individual district champion

Girls region 2 golf tournament starts tomorrow. Our girls start their quest for the trip to state at 8:00.

We are off and running and the girls region 2 5A championship. Nicole gets us going off the first.

Round 1 complete. Girls are in good shape. Vincia shot a 74 and Veronica brings in a 79 to help pace the team today.

It was an up and down kind of day but the wolverines were able to put it together and finish strong to send the team to the state tournament. Nicole led the team with a must have 73 in today’s round.

He goes wire to wire this weekend in Naples. Great job Luke, proud of you.

First round at 5A boys state championship is in the books. We sit in second place with our sight set on bringing home the victory tomorrow.

Congratulations to 5A State Golf Champion Luke Colton of Wakeland. Congrats also to the whole Wakeland High School team, which finished second in 5A. A great performance in Georgetown! Go Frisco ISD!

Boys finished second at the state tournament firing rounds of 289-297 to cap a sensational season. Luke wins the state championship by 4 shots with a 2 day total of 8 under. Great job guys.
