The U12 rugby team also booked their place in the county finals today after wins against Tanbridge House PE 25-0 and Downlands PE Dept. 35-25. A very raw team who have exceeded our initial expectation of just to enjoy the game! Well done boys.

The U15 rugby team progress into the county cup semi finals after a convincing win vs Seaford Head, who defended valiantly throughout the game.

The U13 Rugby team won in the district league vs Tanbridge House PE this afternoon. Some excellent running rugby. Both Tanbridge House PE tries came from their own 5m lines! POTM for Warden Park - Oliver T

The U13 Football team finished second in the district football competition this season after a 3-0 loss to a strong Forest School PE. Always a pleasure to see Mr Warner again.

Rugby: The rain was the winner this afternoon as both the U14 County Cup Semi Final vs Cardinal Newman PE and U16 District Final vs Downlands PE Dept. were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Another fantastically organised 7’s comp at Windlesham House today. We finished runners up of our group so were then playing for the shield. Two key injuries took their toll and we ran out of steam, drawing 1 and losing 2, finishing 8/16 on the day. Well done boys

34 students represented wardenpark at the SussexRFU schools finals day today. Both teams battled hard with the U12’s losing to a strong Dorothy Stringer PE & the U13’s had a try fest of a game against a physical Shoreham Academy PE losing 50-40. Final county ranking U12’s 2nd U13’s finish 4th

FACT: Mr Chappell had never played against a former rugby playing student since joining wardenpark in 2014. He shared the field with NINE of them today. Reports are that he is feeling very sore, but exceptionally proud. Well done Haywards Heath RFC, the future is bright.

Well done to the U13 Rugby team who beat Bohunt Horsham PE today in the league and our first ever rugby match vs Bohunt H. Congratulations to Tom P and Ralph C who played their first A team games - Tom scoring with his first touch! POTM went to Oliver T- fantastic carries and tackling.

On Tuesday, the year 11’s wore the blue of Warden Park for the last time in the District final. A great win against a valiant Downlands PE Dept.. Thank you to Haywards Heath RFC for hosting. ELEVEN of the final squad played in their 1st fixture for WP in Sept 2019- they sure have grown!

Another excellent Pro Star Sports Camps held at Warden Park. Indoor caving is always a popular one!!

A great day today at Windlesham House playing as the Indianapolis Colts for the South East Regional NFL Flag completion. Finishing 3rd overall, we should some outstanding play. Star QB’s Joe and Lucas were pipped at the post for MVP by Tom for his work in offence and defence #touchdown
