We highlighted work-based learning programs last night at the BOE meeting. These programs are employer-connected experiences that allow K-12 students to participate in career awareness, career exploration, and career development. Currently, 151 kids are in the program this year.

Congratulations, Joey Cantrall! Joey is the Waukesha North High School, Class of 2024, Salutatorian. Joey will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Finance and Statistics.

Waukesha Proud! WEPA Class of 2021, alumni Abby Carlson competed in the 200 and 400 Freestyle. Abby qualified for the semi-finals in the 200 and finished 13th. Abby attends the UW-Madison & represents Express Swim in Waukesha.

Waukesha Proud! West HS Class of 2024, Livi Wanner competed in the 100-meter Freestyle on Tuesday & will compete in the 50 Freestyle on Saturday, June 22, at 11:00 AM Eastern. It can be watched on Peacock or the USA Swimming Network.

On Thursday, the Waukesha South High School AVID team wrapped up the AVID Summer Institute in Minneapolis, MN. AVID selected Dan as a featured speaker, and we can't wait to share a video of Dan's speech! #waukeshaproud #avid
