Last week the wavemobile network had it's one millionth unique device access. Not a trivial number for a low power network only serving Not-Spots and it illustrates that there really is a need for this kind of service.

Yesterday was another big milestone for wavemobile. As well as rolling out new sites in Scotland, the two millionth unique device accessed our network! Thank you to 5G DRIVE and our fantastic installation partners at Dragon WiFi and ATS.

2,004,538 unique devices 139,735 answered calls 19.4 TB downloaded 3.4 TB uploaded From a network of small cells in total or partial cellular not-spots across the UK. There were also 30+ emergency calls in the past year, many of which have dispatched the emergency services.

At some point next week, wavemobile will be re-launching roaming for some networks. This will provide incoming and outgoing calls/messaging alongside our "WiFi over cellular" service. Until we have true domestic roaming this will be an opt-in service and completely free. Watch
