58 years ago today, we tragically lost the Apollo 1 crew. Today, and every day, we remember and honor the lives of Astronauts Virgil I. “Gus” Grissom, Edward H. White, and Roger B. Chaffee.

Today I’d like to celebrate the return of Nick Hague, commander of the Crew-9 mission who just spent 6 1/2 months at the ISS. Nick survived a hair raising launch abort on Soyuz and has the courage to ride rockets into space after that.

Time to bring out an oldie but one that speaks to today as well. The applicable part is towards the end: "Meanwhile, could we please quit cancelling rocket projects before they get off the drawing board?" waynehale.wordpress.com/2011/01/20/spa…
