Congratulations class of 2025! I am so proud of my Yellow Jacket Alumni graduating today and over past several days. I know this is just one milestone of many for you. So very proud of each of you 💛💚💛💚🐝

Last night, we celebrated some of our outstanding Yellow Jackets for their hard work, growth, and character! From academics to leadership, their efforts were recognized, and we're thankful for the families who support them and our school. Moments like these make WBMS special.

Just because we are winding down, doesn't mean the learning is done at Whitworth-Buchanan Middle School. Classrooms across the building are working hard until the final moment. Fishbowl happening in 6th grade ELA (don't forget the Goldfish snacks), and presentations in 8th grade ELA!

Thank you Steak n Shake of Murfreesboro and Ms. Debbie Gatewood from Onward Realty for the delicious milkshakes yesterday. We were all thrilled to have this sweet treat for a continued Teacher Appreciation surprise!

Our end of the year Spring Sting was a wonderful way to celebrate our last full Friday of the year. Our students smashed a car, ate all the goodies, and enjoyed games and inflatables all day. Thanks to Dr. Dugger and his team for one great day!

We are extremely proud of the hard work our ESL students and teachers put in this year! Today we celebrated 13 students who exited and many many more that showed growth! Way to go Yellow Jackets!
