Funny, I don't remember other former Premier League players doing arranged inerviews when they dropped into non-league. Love of football, my arse

FC Halifax Town So, at what point were you going to publicly announce that your home game Vs Wealdstone FC Fans is in jeopardy due to pitch issues, rather that hide it away as a tiny footnote on your fixture list? Not the slightest consideration for away fans. Who's going to compensate them?

Micky Bananas Kane (@bananas_wfc) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Looks like Halifax away will be off. So nice that FC Halifax Town gave everyone a heads up about this before we all forked out for trains and accommodation on August 16th. A footnote is disingenuous at best in a "don't blame us, we warned you" way. Away fans the last consideration.

Tom Piffle Grim FC Halifax Town Wealdstone FC Fans You're not the only one obviously. Halifax away is an elite trip, especially early in the season, everyone booked as soon as the fixtures came out. This pitch situation isn't something that has suddenly reared it's head, they've known about it a while and said nothing.

Our Enterprise National League fixture away FC Halifax Town on Sat 16th August is under discussion due to issues our opponents have with their pitch. We are liaising with FC Halifax Town to resolve this as quickly as possible to give our supporters clarity.

Wealdstone FC Enterprise National League FC Halifax Town We have known the pitch wouldn't be ready until the 22nd for ages, why are discussions only just underway when away fans will have planned trains and hotels? Disgraceful as usual from the circus that is FC Halifax Town and I have to feel for Wealdstones fans because its a joke tbh

Wealdstone FC Enterprise National League FC Halifax Town Relations between both sets of fans pretty convivial, Just arrange a ‘drink off ‘ in the Royal Oak , three pidgeons etc between both sets of fans and give the winners 3 points .. a point each if too messy to declare .

Wealdstone FC Fans AFC Halifax No official word yet on the game scheduled 16th August at the Shay. Traveling and home Fans need to know asap what is happening. Match to be switched? Posponed? Or moved to another venue?

Wealdstone FC Enterprise National League FC Halifax Town Question being, how long have these discussions been ongoing, & why is it only now that one of the clubs has publicly announced the pitch situation? It's a disgraceful treatment of fans who've already paid for trains/accommodation for the 16th if this has been known for some time
